Prisca Soares
Prisca Maria Gbemisola Soares holds a BA (Combined Honours) in French and German from the University of Ibadan and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) of London.
In 1977, she joined National Insurance Corporation of Nigeria (now NICON Insurance) as the first Graduate Trainee, rising through the ranks to become the1st female Managing Director in 2000. Ms. Soares had a highly successful career in NICON. In spite of stiff competition, NICON, under her administration, maintained the No.1 position in the market.
Ms. Soares was appointed Secretary General of the African Insurance Organisation in 2007 - the first woman to occupy the position - a position she held till June 2019, and was retained as Consultant till June 2020. She successfully steered the affairs of the continental insurance association, comprising members from 47 African countries, working with international organisations such as the International Labour Organisation, Access to Insurance Initiative (A2ii) and the World Bank.
Prisca Soares has served the Insurance industry in various capacities at home and abroad, such as Chairman, Council of Bureaux of ECOWAS Brown Card Insurance Scheme 2004-2005, Executive Committee member of the African Insurance Organisation 2000 – 2006 and Executive Committee member of the Federation of Afro Asian Insurers and Reinsurers (FAIR) 2000 – 2006.
She has served on the Boards of Directors of various companies, including NAL Bank (now Sterling Bank), Continental Reinsurance Co. Ltd. and Le Meridien Hotel, Abuja, and Bluebird Communications Ltd. She was Chairman, Niger Insurance PLC (1st female director) and Chairman NICON Hotels Ltd, Director Abuja, Chairman NICON Trustees Ltd.
She currently sits on the Board of YOA Insurance Brokers Ltd, and Dames Hub Wellness Initiative.
Apart from professional insurance field, she has also been involved in Church activities and served as member of the Finance Committee of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN), Director, CSN Concepts Investments Ltd. and Salus Trust Guarantee (owned by the CBCN).
She has been honoured with many awards in the Nigerian and West African Insurance industries.
In addition, His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI conferred Prisca with the knighthood of St. Sylvester in 2009.
Olusegun Idowu, ACE, ACIFC
Olusegun Tolulope IDOWU, ACE, ACIFC, a graduate of Business Administration from the Power Institution Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Economist of Nigeria and The Chartered Institute of Finance and Control of Nigeria has almost 25 years of corporate work experience spanning Marketing & Trade, Banking, Finance, Service industries, the media, and packaging, printing and publishing industries.
He had his primary education in Sacred Heart Private School Ring Road Ibadan from where he preceded to the prestigious Government College Ibadan (GCI).
His NYSC primary duty was with Xerox HS (Nig.) Ltd as a Customer Administration Officer under the Finance Directorate.
His first paid employment was with Common Interest Communications Ltd (Publishers of the now rested National Interest Newspapers). He then joined First Bank of Nigeria Plc. rising to the position of Head Marketing Ojodu Branch and at different times had the responsibility of Acting as the Branch Manager.
He proceeded to UBA PLC as the pioneer Profit Center Manager of Ibafo Business Office before being redeployed to the Bank’s Retail Collection Department as a Zonal Coordinator/Team Lead, a sub-section of the Credit Risk Management Directorate of the Bank. He then moved on to join ModeMen Magazine Nigeria’s foremost male lifestyle magazine as the company’s Director of Business Development. He joined Bromley Group as the Group Finance Executive. Bromley Group is made up of MELROSE BOOKS & PUBLISHING LTD, BROMLEY TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, BROMLEY PACKAGING LIMITED, BROMLEY LABORATORIES LIMITED, and BOOKS DIRECT INTERNATIONAL LIMITED. He moved on to Dolaj Consulting Limited as its Director of Operation. He also functioned as the GM of Forever Vegetable Oil (a wholesale styled commodity trading company) in Ibadan. Olusegun is a Consultant in M&E and a TQLA Consultant on the Global Fund/NASCAP PMTCT Scale-Up.
In collaboration with some like minds, he has been involved in some other personal ventures across agriculture covering cultivation, processing (including marketing), value optimization services in real estate and lifestyle.
He has attended several relevant professional courses and programmes to enhance his knowledge and keep him abreast of the global best practices and demands in his various engagements. His reading habit cuts across not just his professional field.
Olusegun loves travelling, reading and plays a variety of games and sports including chess, scrabble, lawn tennis, soccer , basketball , the traditional ayo olopon amongst other games. He is also a lover of different genre of music.
He strongly believes “If you’re good at something coach and train others. Sharing knowledge only enhances what you know!”
‘Segun is a big fan of Chelsea FC and the great Oluyole Warriors Shooting Stars of Ibadan in the absence of Leventis United FC also of Ibadan.
He is blessed with two lovely and adorable daughters Ifeoluwamuyiwa Obafunso Esther and Oyeoluwa Mojolaife Deborah.
Funmilola Osunsade (MBA MNIM AICM)
FUNMILOLA OSUNSADE (MBA MNIM AICM) is the President/CEO of AMALYA Consults, a Financial and Investment Consulting Firm that specialises in the delivery of a full-range of consultancy services, ranging from Strategic business planning, Financial consultancy, Human resources and Capacity development services. The company was founded in December 2011, and has been engaged by corporate clients in various industrial sectors.
Ms. Osunsade joined the former Equitorial Trust Bank Limited in 1994 as a Deputy Manager, She rose through the ranks and became General Manager (GM), Branch Development and Corporate Services from November, 2005 to November, 2011 where she successfully opened 66 new branches. This represented 85% of the total number of new branches opened in the Bank between 2006 and 2009. In 2011, due to her experience at achieving optimal solutions for complex problems, within cost and time limitations, she led the negotiation team for the merger of two financial institutions (Sterling Bank and Equatorial Trust Bank).
Ms Osunsade also sits on the Board of Effbee Industries Ltd - a company that deals in Agriculture, Manufacturing and Packaging of finished products as well as Ayaba Foods Enterprises as subsidiary of Effbee Industries limited.
In March 2012, she was appointed as a member of the Board of Sterling Bank Plc, as a Non-Executive Director. A position she held till May 2014.
A native of Ondo state, Ms. Osunsade is an Alumnus of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Akoka, where she bagged a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She obtained an MBA in Finance from Enugu State University of Science and technology. She is also an Alumni of Lagos Business School and Wharton Business School, Univ. of Pennsylvania.

Feyi Adunbi MSW, LMSW- Clinical, C-ASWCM, CCBTS
Feyisetan (Feyi) Adunbi MSW, LMSW, C-ASWCM, CCBTS is a Clinical Social Worker (MSW Senior - Clinical Scholar level) at Michigan Medicine, where she is the Program Director for Social Work Graduate Education.
She holds a Masters Degree in African Studies with concentration in Women, Gender & Sexuality from Yale University. In addition, she obtained an MPA from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
Feyi has worked in various healthcare settings including inpatient, outpatient, and private practice; and has recently become involved in scholarly research, and is the lead investigator on an IRB-approved research project on cannabis as a complementary treatment option among Head & Cancer patients.
Feyi’s background is in activism, human rights advocacy, and development work. She had worked on Women & Children’s rights issues – specifically addressing gender-based violence, discrimination, health and education, and women’s participation in grassroots politics in Nigeria.
In her spare time, Feyi is an active volunteer with a local chapter of the American Red Cross, where she is a member of the Disaster Mental Health (DMH) team, Integrated Care Condolence Team (ICCT) and Service to the Armed Forces Program.

Olayinka Ogunde
Yinka Ogunde is the CEO of Edumark Consult and a certified leadership and business coach.
She graduated from the University of Lagos with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and an MSc in Mass Communications from the same University. Her career spans the field of Broadcasting, Advertising, Entrepreneurship and Education.
She has created numerous impactful programs designed to transform, inspire and drive growth.
Yinka Ogunde has also helped organisations to navigate change and improve productivity through numerous training programs.
She is the founder of The Concerned Parents and Educators Initiative, a group with over 240,000 members. CPE has funded the Education of over 1,000 students in low-cost schools, provided food for hundreds of families through its food basket program and trained nearly 5,000 teachers through its “Inspired to teach program”
She is the organiser of one of the largest Education shows in Africa, the Total School support seminar/Exhibition.
She is a leading voice in Education advocacy and has pioneered numerous initiatives within the sector

Fumi Bamgboye is an experienced and insightful real estate professional that has successfully become a million-dollar producing agent.
Fumi has built a successful career as a realtor and entrepreneur by focusing on finding innovative solutions to client’s needs and concerns that are best suited to prevailing market conditions. She is passionate about helping her clients solve their real estate problems and meet their housing needs.
Fumi is also a real estate coach mentoring and training new realtors on how to build a successful real estate career.
Fumi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration as well as a diploma in Advertising. She is passionate about encouraging and motivating women to invest in themselves and build wealth through real estate portfolios.
She is a Published author, the CEO of Ijinle.TheGallery and the Founder of Ijinle.org a Yoruba worship and Prayer experience. She sits on the board of various non-profit organizations including Total Respite Foundation, Africa Data Foundation. She holds an empowering forum (Connect with Fumi) for single mothers in all walks of life, providing resources and tools for single mothers.
Fumi is a Christian with deep expertise working with religious organizations. Fumi has lived on and visited several continents making her especially skilled at working with people of diverse cultures and background.
She is a loving mother of three amazing biological children and a few non-biological children. And as a mother, she has learned invaluable life lessons that make her an even more dynamic professional.
She likes to think of herself first as a servant of Christ, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a coach, a student of life, a serial entrepreneur, an innovator and a Dreamer at Heart.
